Description
DSDAP (1,2-distearoyl-3-dimethylammonium-propane) is an ionizable cationic lipid that can be used in the formulation of liposomes for drug delivery or lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for nucleic acid delivery. Ionizable cationic lipids are neutral at physiological pH, resulting in improved stability. At low pH, ionizable cationic lipids are postively charged, resulting in release of cargo payload in the endosome.
Key application(s): drug delivery, LNPs, liposomes
