Description

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a water-soluble, biologically inert polymer that has a number of biological and pharmaceutical applications. Specifically, PEG2000 can be used as an excipient in pharmaceutical products or as a coating on polymeric or lipid nanoparticles to prevent opsonization in vivo and to prolong drug circulation.
