Description
Campesterol is a phytosterol and cholesterol derivative used in lipid nanoaprticle (LNP) formulations. Inclusion of campesterol has been shown to alter the LNP membrane structure and increase uptake efficiency both in vitro and in vivo, leading to particular interest in mRNA vaccine development.
